How to reach us

Below you will find directions to easily reach Sorrento and Coltur Suites by car, train or plane.

By car

From Rome to Sorrento, it takes about two and a half hours (245 kilometres). Take the highway direction Naples then follow direction “Penisola Sorrentina”, when you arrive in Castellamare di Stabia (the exit after Pompei) follow always direction Sorrento, then continue to the Marina Grande touristic port.

By train

From Rome take the train to Naples. From Naples central station follow the signs for the Circumvesuviana line towards Sorrento, trains run approximately every 30 minutes from 6:00 to 22:30. The journey time is approximately one hour.

By plane

From Naples airport to Sorrento runs a bus (Curreri Line) which takes about one hour. Do not hesitate to contact us to book your private car transfer from Naples to the Coltur Suites.

Sorrento

Sorrento city center is about five minutes walking from the apartments Coltur Suites.

Coltur Suites apartments is a great point of departure for excursions on the Amalfi coast, close to the Sorrento city center and  the picturesque little port of Marina Grande.

This area has become famous first of all for its view on the Bay of Naples and for its fish restaurants on the sea, but best of all, for a movie shot here: “Scandal in Sorrento” (original title “Pane, amore e…”) with Sophia Loren and Vittorio De Sica, well known in all the world.

Make a little tour from Piazza Tasso, the main square of the town, visiting the little streets of the historical centre, shops of perfume and liquor “limoncello” made with the famous lemons of Sorrento; walking down, direction of Marina Piccola you’ll find the church of Sant’Antonino (the protector of Sorrento) in baroque style.

Continuing on the same road, there are two caractheristic places of Sorrento: the Villa Comunale, a public garden with the best view on the sea of Sorrento, and the picturesque cloister of San Francesco.

We suggest also to visit the Museum Correale, full of archaeological finds, of many periods of Sorrento’s history.
